What it is not for
- A shirt pocket on a flight with a half-used cartridge. Cabin pressure pushes ink out of the nib.
- Anyone who wants it to stay bright. Unlacquered brass goes brown within weeks and dark within a year.
- Posting hard. The cap posts on friction; push it on, do not hammer it.
Care
Flush with room-temperature water when you change ink. Check the cap is fully closed before it goes in a pocket. The brass needs nothing.
